I’m going to enjoy my day off today somehow even though the showery, rainy days have returned after the sun made a very brief appearance. We supposedly have not had a lot of rain over the last few months but neither have we had a lot of sunshine. Many cloudy days. With the work I’m doing it is easy to see how the weather seems to affect people’s moods as I’ve noticed that when that when the Sun is out people are happier and easier to talk to than when the clouds are out and rain is misting or drizzling from the sky. Friday and Saturday with the Sun brought out the niceness of people or so it seemed. Maybe it was that the weekend was a day away for some.
We enjoyed a Thai dinner out with a few of our friends. The food was good, the service not so much. Deep fried banana with pistachio ice cream was a great way to end the dinner.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card fell away from the deck, “XIX The Sun: The best moments in life are rooted in the ordinary. Contentment. Optimism. Ordinariness. Satisfaction from a job well done. Familiarity.” I like this card. Just a simple ordinary life is what I like, no grandiose plans or desires, just a plain and simple life where I have a great work/life balance and life is as stress and worry free as I can make it.
