5 of Swords

A very rainy morning, rain that started last evening and will likely continue through the week. The heaviest of the passing rain should end around noon today.

My work days are going okay, we decided to start earlier yesterday and I’m glad we did.  Think the shift should not run until 8pm although it may be good to collect completed forms of registered voters it makes the day extremely tiring and yesterday being the first work day after Daylight Savings Time is not a good day to be too tired on the roads.

My partner and I had a wonderful dinner.  He threw together a recipe I wanted to try: Zesty Ginger-Tomato Chicken.  Yummy!  I barely got home and ate dinner it seems and then it was past 11pm.  I’ll be glad to have worked through these shifts.  Working midday is not kind to me.  But I’m happy to be doing this.  Thank You Spirit.

I slept well even though the fire alarm and false alarm sounded around midnight or there about.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “5 of Swords: The Tennis Game.  Being overly competitive.  A game which gets out of hand.  A pattern of always needing yo win, or to lose.”  A good reminder that life is not a competition but rather a gift of light an love, a gift of self exploration and discovery, of being in tune with our surroundings, of remaining a part of Nature, a part of Spirit and becoming more than what we think we can be.
