'7 The Archer' and Letting Your Soul Take Flight

Sunday, August 2nd, 2015.  Sunday is about "healing, spirituality, success, strength, and protection".  This is then combined with the moon in Pisces where "the focus is on dreaming, nostalgia, intuition and psychic impressions" and it's "a good time for spiritual or philanthropic activities".

I hope everyone had a great start to their weekend and had wonderful Full Moon and Lammas celebrations.  My weekend has certainly been full of the loving energy, presence, and guidance of Spirit.  I'm now the new owner of a Pleasure Way Van that I introduced in a blog post late last night and Serenity is her name.  I'm simply the chauffeur of this van.  As I mentioned in last night's post Serenity really belongs to my two friends, Edith and Eugene Tokalot.  And again, please introduce yourself to them at their blog Edith and Eugene Tokalot's RVing Adventures or invite them over to your neck of the woods for a visit.  They love a good road trip.  And please tell your friends  about these two wonderful characters too!

For the most part last night was all about learning more about how to use and operate the van and planning our first road trip in her.  We'll likely do a bit more of a shakedown cruise later this month or perhaps over the September long weekend, likely an overnight trip so we hike the Joffre Lakes Trail up near Pemberton.  Right now I think we'll likely spend the night at Duffey Lake Provincial Park (also rated on Trip Advisor) then drive over to Joffre Lakes Provincial Park and do the four or five return hike.  The difficulty and intensity of the hike is either very difficult or simply moderate as it all depends on where the information comes from.  The Joffre Lakes Provincial Park entry seems to rate it as difficult whereas most of what I've read on Trip Advisor reports it as a moderate hike.  So that's the initial plan for our first real shakedown cruise of Serenity.

Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is "7 The Archer: The dawn of a new adventure, folded in the web of universal potential, waits for you to string the bow of your imagination and loose the arrows of creativity.  This is a time to be bold and commit to the hunting of new life and a better relationship with the world, as well as the fulfillment of wholesome ambition.  Take a moment to gather your tools and steady your state of mind.  Take careful stock of what you want to achieve, why and how you will go about it.  Then harness your potential by filling your quiver with all the talents, knowledge and cunning you possess and string the 'bow of burning gold' with the 'arrows of desire'.  Take a deep breath and be calm.  It is time to let your soul take flight."

I'm gathering all of my tools, skills, talents, creativity and imagination and releasing my desires (arrows) with focused intent as I'm ready to let my "soul take flight".  I've hunted for a new life and it's time to reel it in along with a new, deeper, more profound and wholesome relationship with the world and all of the people I encounter along the way.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.

Celebrating Lammas by Picking Up My 2005 Pleasure Way XL Van

Saturday, August 1st, 2015.  Happy Lammas Everyone!  May we all be blessed with the gathering and bounty of the first harvest.  May the abundance of food gathered be respected and consumed with thoughts of peace, love, and sustainability of nature and all of Gaia.

This morning my brother was once again gracious enough to drive us out to O'Connor RV in Chilliwack so I could finally pick up my new to me 2005 Pleasure Way XL Van.  This time I was raring to go with nervous excitement.  As I got settled in with Peter to go over the financing and related paperwork my nerves settled right down.  Thank you Peter.  Once the financing was taken care of I sat down with Diana and insured the van so I could drive it off the lot.  Thank you Diana.  About twenty minutes after arriving I was out doing a walk thru of the van with Gerri.

Gerri was a great teacher and I pretty much understand all the inner workings of the van, oh, let's call her by her name, Serenity.  I understand how the propane system works, how the electrical system works, the drainage, the hot water heater, the house battery, how to winterize the plumbing, and much, much more.  Thank you Gerri, apologies if I misspelled your name.

Before driving off we had a photo taken in front of Serenity, this is one with only me in it:

However, Serenity belongs more to two loving and wonderful friends that entered my life in 2009, Edith and Eugene Tokalot.  So please visit and learn more about them by following their adventures and maybe even mis-advenutres at 'Edith and Eugene Tokalot's RVing Adventures' (eandetokalotsrvingadventures.blogspot.ca)

Having said that, the "Ten of Stones. Home" could not be more true than it is today.  How much at home I feel now having a newer, well taken care home on wheels at the waiting whenever the mood strikes and I need to hit the open road as open as it can be...
