'10 The Wheel' and Embracing Change as a State of Being and Harnessing the Power of Change from Within

Saturday, August 13, 2016.  Last night as I was wrapping things up and getting ready for bed the Wildwood Tarot called out me so I knew that this morning I'd be working with this deck.

I slept rather well although I did get up a and walk around a couple of times even going out on to the deck to cool off a little bit.  But the night air was still felt warm even with me being shirtless.

I awoke and slipped out of bed close to 7am and got on with my morning, didn't get to do much or even have a chance to think about walking down to the park as the other person in the household awoke so my alone time was cut short.

Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is "10 The Wheel: The Wheel has turned; change is at hand.  In all nature there is a time and tide.  The cyclic laws of birth, death and rebirth are ever revolving and, without change, all things stagnate.  How you deal with this change is the issue here.  Within the tangled and tightly woven fabric of chance you have the power to make a difference.  By your own actions you can change your life.  You are not a prisoner of fate, but an integral part of it.  Remember, this is not a dress rehearsal!  Life is what happens to you while you are waiting for it to begin.  Whether on the surface the change appears to be for better or for worse, welcome it, be at peace with it and take control of your actions within it.  All things must pass."

Points that stand out from "10 The Wheel" is that none of us "are not a prisoner of fate, but an integral part of it" and that "this is not a dress rehearsal!  Life is what happens to you while you are waiting for it to begin".  From my perspective, "10 The Wheel" is letting us know that we must be an active part of the cycle of change that occurs in of our lives.  So "Whether on the surface the change appears to be for better or for worse, welcome it, be at peace with it and take control of your actions within it."

Let's be change, let's make change a state of being so that we can shape and mold it as best we can to our own liking.  Let's embrace change so it happens more within us than outside of us.  Yes, this may be hard to do and look like an insurmountable challenge but it's possible and made ever more possible when we recognize our power to take control of it and never yield our power, the power that we always have within us, to outside forces that are likely beyond our control.
