IV The Emperor and the 9 of Swords

Sunday, March 29th, 2015.  Yesterday was a busy day as we simply had the morning free before heading to a day of activity.  First we drove into Vancouver; then grabbed lunch and coffee with a friend before the three of us headed over to "Performance Works" to watch a play. "Corpus Christi"; then we had a spot of tea before heading over to Las Margaritas for dinner with potentially new friends that my partner met up with due to his background.

Lunch was okay although, the coffee was great.  Conversation as usual was lively and fun.  The play had some great acting but was lacklustre overall.  We parted ways with our friend and then sat for a spell with a cup of flavourless chamomile tea we pick picked up at "a la mode".  The off to Las Margaritas to meet some new friends that are doing their best to make a new life for themselves here in Canada.  My partner is from the same country as they are and hence the contact between them.  Conversation and food were good.   Then homeward bound we were oh, but not before a quick grocery run.

Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is “IV The Emperor: Sometimes one must be a benevolent despot.  Organization.  Taking charge.  An authority figure.  Utilizing discipline to provide a structure for creativity” with some input from the “9 of Swords: Unquiet Dreams.  Stress.  Worries.  Mental tapes which play over and over.”

We must discipline in ourselves if we are to put to good use the creative energy imparted to us by the divine.  I can be lazy and unmotivated so disciplining myself is key to moving forward with my creative projects and getting good results.  A good way to invoke discipline in our lives to ask for divine intervention and blessings.  Intervention so we can harness the strength and energy needed to get on with it and blessings in and of our projects.

For instance I didn't simply discover Tarot, I was guided to Tarot through the divine.  The creation of my website and the name is through the divine and coming to grips with my space limitations and desire to be a model railroader has also been guided by the divine.  I do not always have all the answers, strength or energy needed to move along in life so a little if not a lot of divine intervention is always welcomed and humbly accepted with much thanks.

This is one of the best ways to overcome the anxiety and worries eluded to by the “9 of Swords".  The “9 of Swords" is an obvious sign of the lack of keeping the divine front and centre in our lives.  Harness the creative energy and discipline if the divine in your life and move forward with those creative projects that may have been collecting dust the last little while.

I know I will.

Thank You Spirit.

Blessed Be.
