After getting lost and spending an hour finding our way out of the park and back to the car we set to grab a bite to eat as we were famished from roaming the park for two hours, our short hike turned into more of an adventure than we were anticipating. We hit a small strip mall and headed on into Subway. Since we were so close we reserved room for dessert, a doughnut and coffee from Krispy Kreme. Then onward home we went.
After a quick clean up and shower we met our friends and headed on over to Cockney Kings for a dinner of beer and fish n chips, well some of us had a beer. We came back home for an after dinner visit, tea, and dessert, an almond cake with dark chocolate from Ikea.

I really do need a take a vacation and think things through, to be on my own for a day or two so I can clear my head, not be responsible for anything and just let myself breath and be me for a spell. A decision I need to obviously make is weighing heavily on me. Just simply acknowledging that I appear to be at a crossroads in my life is a big step in moving forward and making the progress I need to make in order to take that next big, or heck even little step to get on with it. I think this obvious need to make a decision in decisions in my life is well represented by the doorway or gateway we came across while walking through Watershed Park.
