6 of Coins and Finding Work For Yourself

This computer is starting to misbehave.  As if computers can misbehave.  Actually, I think it’s starting to show its age as its slowing down and quite unresponsive much of the time.  Keys seemed to be needed a little extra pressure and programs are just a tad slow such as this here “Word” program.  Sometimes an error window pops up and it will not open the document I’ve double-clicked on.  I think I should get an external hard drive and back-up the entire hard drive of this computer.

Yesterday was almost a full work day.  I left 30 minutes earlier than usual however I’ve been called back into work today.  This was supposed to be a much more temporary gig so I’m glad I’m getting the extra hours.  The pay is good and the work quite enjoyable.  The energy of the office is a kind of get the work done but be sure to relax along the way.  I’ll be sad when the work is completed and we’re all sent our walking papers or pink slips.  Thanks for the work.  Thank You Spirit.

Spirit Is and today’s visiting Tarot Card is the “6 of Coins: Dependence.  Resentment because of financial dependence on another.  Charity.  An unequal relationship.”

When I look and contemplate more on/about this card I get the sense that I need to really focus on some objectives and put the hard work needed into my passions in order to make them payoff for me.  My passions are moneymakers if I choose them to be.  It is all up to me.  I can make or break myself depending on the path I wish to follow.  Yes, I have many passions however in having said that they are all worthwhile hanging onto as they provide me with the means to engage in “productive procrastination”.  Steal Like An Artist, Austin Kleon, 2012, Workman Publishing, New York

I just finished reading “Steal Like An Artist” last night and found it a truly inspiring book.  A friend loaned it to me and I’m glad he did.  I’ll return the book to him so he can pass it onto someone else and I will buy the book myself and lend it to someone else who may find it as inspiring as I did.
