Had dreams about equipment, maybe setting it up or reconfiguring it somehow. The equipment was not related to the job per say however reconfiguring the equipment is similar to what is going on at the job in relation to software upgrades.
But I was still thinking about authenticity, not as much but I could feel it doing all sorts of things in the recesses of my mind. Authenticity is where it's at for me these days so I've got to follow it to wherever it leads me. And when I pause for a moment and authenticity enters my thoughts, "I am ready" comes to mind. So without further ado, I shout out loud, clear, and proud that "I am ready!"
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Guide of Wands: Feeling possessed by a creative project or inspiration. Being inspired to help others. Doing what’s right."
Doing what's right is to help others. We have no choice. This is the time, the absolute right time to be reaching out and helping others. We have to get off of our high horses, our soapboxes and our pedestals and start doing things that will have the greatest impact on the world and this is helping others.
One very good way that we can start helping others is to see the truth in and of this world we live in. Second thing we can is to stop being so darned judgemental. We all do it, we all do it to some degree. Seen a homeless person lately, maybe someone begging for money, someone going through the trash, picking up cigarette but to see if they can get at least a toke out of it. How about the person who takes a half full container of pop or juice out of the garbage so they can quench their thirst? Or judging someone by the way they look, how they are dressed or the type of car they drive.
After we've rid ourselves of our judgmental ways we can start looking at how and who we can help...clothes, food, money, perhaps a place to stay, a ride, maybe even just a friendly smile and nod of your head will do. A car is a car and people can drive whatever car they like. People have their own sense of fashion and we may not agree with it but this does not entitle to pass judgement on this person simply by the way they are dressed.
Another great way we can help others is to them respect. Respect them by acknowledging their existence and that they just as much as you have a right to be in this world. Then love them for all that they are and all that they aren't for then we can truly love and respect ourselves and the world goes 'round.
Thank You Spirit.

The "3 of Cups", Authenticity and Feeling Genuine Joy
Last night I noticed that any time that I was aware, authenticity came to mind, authenticity in living, in being, in being aware, in knowing and understanding my place in this world and in the universe itself. I didn't feel like me in physical form as I slept but more as me being spirit.
And even when the alarm serenaded us out of our slumber, authenticity filled my mind. Even through clumsily getting out of and walking to the kitchen to get our morning coffee going as well as to greet the cat, authenticity reigned supreme in my mind.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “3 of Cups: A Good Time. Happy, comfortable times together. Quiet enjoyment. Celebration."
Quiet enjoyment and being genuinely joyful filled my day even though I was going through the motions of the job. Although, I was fully committed to the job and fulfilling my role authenticity was with me. And as I went about the day and doing my "job" I didn't identify as an Operations Manager but rather as a Spiritual Coach and Wedding Officiant. At times I felt as if I was subconsciously officiating over a wedding or coaching someone as the journeyed along their spiritual path with me as their passenger during our chats. These were quite the real experiences to me even though they seemingly occurred at the subconscious level.
The “3 of Cups" may be appearing today however, I also felt it's energy yesterday as we returned my brother's car to his place, rode skytrain downtown, had an afternoon coffee and sweet at "Birds & Beets" on Powell Street and window shopped as we made our way along to check in on a friend's place during their absence. Usually, on a Sunday afternoon I get a bit antsy, queasy and uneasy as the impending work week looms large. Yesterday I felt optimistic as I look ahead to taking up my new role as Spiritual Coach and Wedding Officiant at Wizard Oron - Metaphysical and Mystical Realms.
I know that my good feelings, the joy I'm feeling today as well as the authenticity that is taking root in my life stems from my acknowledgement of the fact that I'm my best when I'm using my ears more than my mouth, doing more to empathically listen to people in need of a person to talk to and in need of a little bit of help whether they know they need it or not. My role is a listening role and I miss listening to people and helping them by being open and receptive to their conversations, allowing them to talk so much so that they often resolve their dilemmas themselves, even feeling better as a result.
The energy from this “3 of Cups" is such a great and most natural feeling energy that most of us can't but help feel happy, so happy in fact that we want to celebrate something, anything...even taking time to celebrate holding hands and being quiet with a loved one...no verbal conversation but communicating none-the-less. How perfect is that!?!
Thank You Spirit.

The "Elemental of Wands", Boosting Our Passion and Drive to Get Things Done
Looking after Zooey again, my brother's cat. She spent her first night here last night. Interestingly, this morning as I was going about my meditation, if you will, having my moment of thanks and gratitude for awaking and being giving life for another day, Zooey perked up and seemed to give an approving meow to my words. Thank You Zooey. Thank You Spirit.
Spirit Is and today's Pagan Tarot Energy is the "Elemental of Wands - Salamander: In the Pagan Tarot the elementals are recognized as the purest source of energy. The elemental for Fire is the Salamander. People often confuse the elemental Salamander with the mundane version (a water lizard with black dots on red skin). Elemental Salamanders are very unusual looking - a combination of dragon and lizard. Salamanders are the spirit of fire. Without these beings, fire cannot exist. Many consider Salamanders the strongest and most powerful of all the elementals. They extend or contract their size at will. Salamanders are dangerous but remind us that we need times of inspiration. This passion, used properly, can yield great things. Left unchecked, it can cause fanaticism or burn out, both of which are destructive. The Salamander can represent someone of fiery passion and ambition. This Elemental can indicate a message, often pertaining to a career, a project in progress, or a possible new course of study."
Today's "Elemental of Wands" energy is instilling in us the passion, will and force to get things done. We have it in us today to follow through with our goals all the way to the end...to success! Our efforts are direct and well-focused on the tasks at hand, on what needs to be done. Our goals are manifest.
Don't let today's universal support for you and the achievement of your goals and this goes for me as, go to waste. We need to double our efforts and put our noses to the grindstone so we can see the realisation of goals through to their rightful end, to get ourselves to be where we want to be in life. Believe it, it is real, the time and energy to this, is now.
Let's get to it!
Thank You Spirit.

"VII The Chariot", Our Wheels Finally Gripping the Road and Moving Us Forward
Being able to spend more time doing what I love is what the weekends bring to me at least for now. As I'm on my way to being able to do what I love each and every day of the week. A mind-shift has occurred within me and the day job I have will soon, very soon, be no more.
What do I love doing? Meditating, simply being, contemplating, being totally immersed in Spirit and my spiritual self, being an active conscious conduit through which life can be created and co-created by me, being active in my co-operative consciousness with Spirit, where Spirit's thoughts are my thoughts and where my heart, mind, body and soul are in perfect harmony with all that is best for me. (These words are not my own as I'm paraphrasing something I read from a book, magazine, or even an email containing the Mystical Insights of Dr. Leon Masters)
For example, this morning I spent time in front of my weekend altar set up on the dining room table giving thanks and being full of gratitude for the gift of life for yet another day. On my altar are stones, crystals, crow statuary, a candle, incense and my many Tarot Decks. The energy of one of the decks will rise above the others and this is the deck that will reveal today's Tarot Energy for us.
Spirit Is and today's Pagan Tarot Energy is "VII The Chariot: Signifies both a time period in which we have felt as though our wheels were spinning, getting us nowhere; and also that such a time period is nearing its end, and we are about to begin to see our energies released for growth and movement again. The timing was not right for our success, but now that time is coming."
Generally speaking, I consider myself a spiritualist as my spiritual life combines a variety of spiritual paths that I have brought together to create my own spiritual path, one that works for me yet I am open to all spiritual paths for they all lead to the same source. And yes at times I feel like as I'm a lot of us have, that we're simply spinning our wheels and getting nowhere fast. But change is coming and we are beginning to move toward our goals as our wheels are now gripping the road and moving us forward. We are building up speed and momentum and will soon be on our way at a good clip, a comfortable speed that will allow us to see the road ahead clearly and change course or take a detour if we have to.
But let's take this forward movement for granted or think we can simply sit back and enjoy the ride. We have to actively take part and continue this movement forward by taking the right and appropriate actions that continue to fire the motor that will keep us moving. This is not the time to get lazy or take our focus off of our goals. They are there ready to come to life as we want them to, it's up to us to make them happen.
Thank You Spirit.

The "Three of Vessels", True Joy from Gracious Living
Sometime during the night as I slept or slightly awoke, I suppose, thoughts of the Wildwood Tarot filled my mind so I decided as the night progressed the Wildwood was my go to deck in morning. It's energy calling out to me through my subconscious mind.
Spirit Is and today's Wildwood Tarot Energy is the "Three of Vessels, Joy: The ability to connect directly to joy allows the healing and empowering energies to flow through you and is a gift from the universe. Being able to be joyful and celebrate life fully in gratitude for the amazing gifts we share is a uniquely individual blessing but is also recognised by those who feel its warmth radiating from us. To be able to embrace love, life's achievements and the fulfilment that comes with selfless dedication to a shared cause or belief is to be the conduit from which the unseen breath of the divine flows. One of the most common reasons why people lose the ability to feel authentic joy in their lives is the fear associated with loss or grief at the passing of the emotion. Sometimes we need to give ourselves permission to be completely fulfilled and to experience joy again and be strong and stoical enough to understand that all of life's trials and tribulations, as well as the blessings and gifts, are cyclical by nature."
The "Three of Vessels" is guiding us, if not outright telling us to live in the present and to live and celebrate life with unconditional and unflinching gratitude each and every day of our lives no matter what trials and tribulations come our way. Living in the present, present moment awareness and living as best we can each and every day allows joy to flow through our lives. Yes, life can be challenging however we need to be always be spiritually minded each and every day and joy shall be with us always.
I always try to be joyful and full of gratitude each and every morning and doing my best to remind myself of the joys of existence throughout the day because I've been given the gift of life for yet another day. A gift that allows me to experience the awesomeness and beauty of life and all that life offers once again.
Joy is awaking and being greeted by the warm embrace of a new day, the breath of life from a new day, the spiritual richness that comes from being a conduit of the Great Source that gifts us all with the Spirit of Life that fills one and all, that continuously encourages us to be more than we think we can be spreading light and love throughout the world by allowing the unseen breath of the divine flow through our joy of living true and authentic lives.
Thank You Spirit.

The "5 of Swords" and Another Reminder That Life is Not a Competition
A bit overheated last night so my sleep was interrupted as I tossed and turned throwing the bed coverings off a few times before awaking around 4:30am and not sleeping much after.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the "5 of Swords: The Tennis Game. Being overly competitive. A game which gets out of hand. A pattern of always needing to win, or to lose.”
The "5 of Swords" is calling on us to meditate and strengthen our connection with Spirit and our true selves so we can overcome our overly competitive ways and attitudes. This energy is here to remind us that life is not a competition and that we need to stop treating it as such. For we should be more caring and compassionate toward each other by reaching for our higher selves and trying to solve our worldly problems through compromise and respectful conversations rather than resorting to our primitive brains and the violent ways it leads to.
Thank You Spirit.

The "Guide of Coins" and Feeling Special about having an Ordinary, Mundane Day
Slept very well with just a few oddball thoughts coming and going throughout the night. And really didn't want to awake this morning, was so very tempted to ignore the alarm and fall back to sleep but I didn't.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Guide of Coins: Seeing the magic in the mundane. Spiritual fulfilment from nature. Finding joy in the ordinary.”
The “Guide of Coins" is one of my favourite cards in this deck. It really defines the way I feel. Nature is not only my home, it's a part of who I am. I feel connected, vibrant, alive and full of energy even with a swarm of mosquitoes wanting to draw every millilitre of blood from us during our Cougar Mountain Cedar Grove hike on Sunday.
But enough about me and today's Tarot Energy. This is supposed to about you, yes, you!
Today's “Guide of Coins" is that specialness you're feeling today as you look out and spot a bird singing just for you, you're sure you're the only one hearing this special song. Today's energy is about the smile that crossed your lips today as that rusty old sign caught your attention and the mundaneness of the scene that filled your eyes as you looked back up and got back to your walk, nothing noteworthy, just life simply being life...
...aahhh...that's the whole energy of today's “Guide of Coins", life simply being life...nothing extraordinary, nothing eventful, nothing to write in the diary but wait, yes there is...you can write that you enjoyed being ordinary today, enjoyed the mundane day you had and that you'd like to experience it all over again!
What an experience!
Thank You Spirit!
