Ace of Swords

Last night as I slept, dreamed, and thought three images floated through my mind.  The first image was of the altar I created on my dresser and then photographed.  The second image is Monument Valley and the third image is my RV, the link between the first two images.  The altar on my dresser will soon be in my RV and will provide me with Spiritual focus along my travels and support the natural altars I may see along my travels to Monument Valley.  Nature is after all the best Spiritual we can ever have or use.

Monument Valley has such presence for me and is such a draw that I need visit this place as soon as I can.

Today's visiting Tarot card is the Ace of Swords and this card fell away as soon as I started shuffling the deck.  An idea, new plans, ideas, or strategies.  Hhhhmmm. . .yes this is a perfect reflection of what I've been spending my time on for the last couple of days.  Especially where Spirit and my approach to Spirit is concerned.  Also to some extent it is a reflection of my reflecting on my approach to getting into my RV.

I'm happy because these daily cards really speak to me and I know a lot from looking at them before even grabbing a look at what is written about them.  I've always wondered at when this inner, ever present knowledge of Tarot would take hold in me and here I finally awake to the fact that it has always been there.  I just needed to my eyes, heart, mind, body, and soul to ever present Spirit and remember who I am and where I come from.

Thanks for reading.

Blessed Be.

Age

For some time I've been feeling king of guilty I guess for not feeling my age but a couple of days ago the guilt just disappeared, nothing to feel guilty about.

I'm in my mid-40s yet I often feel like I'm still in my 20's or 30's and at times even behave as such.  I try to behave "age" appropriately I suppose but then I've just decided to be me and not feel guilty about this either.

Spirit is Spirit and this is where I feel I'm getting all of this from - I am who I am and should not apologize for it especially considering I live my life in a good way, on good terms, and in as loving and compassionate ways as I can.

Does age really matter?  In some ways yes but more often than not I think it should not matter all that much.  I feel young and youthful and I shall cherish this feeling for as long as it lasts. Physically, I work with my body and at times I feel my age but I will celebrate my youthfulness and the way I look and feel for as long as it lasts.

I'm alive and healthy and for that I am more than grateful and thanks is not enough so I will continue to dedicate my life to Spirit, improving myself, my world, and the world around me.

Blessed Be.

Slept Well, Spiritually Lighter

What a difference a day makes and who knew that today I'd feel so much better and more fulfilled than yesterday.  I feel Spiritually lighter today and Spiritually Alive and full of Spiritual Energy that defies description.

I usually go through a morning routine but failed to run through it today but none-the-less I did manage to do a quick Spiritual Meditation while working with Tarot.  Today's visiting card is "IX The Hermit: solitude, getting away, trying to see things from a new perspective, gaining new insight into things in and revolving around my life.

I also feel that I'm on the right track and am defining my life my way and authoring my own life story.  Life is going as it should for now and for that I am thankful.

Thank You Spirit.

Seven Months Later

Seven months later and I've returned to my blog(s).

About time I got back into writing my blog here and the many other blogs I've been working on as well.  Maybe I can't blog in a timely manner because I have too many blogs to keep track and take care of.  Never thought about the amount of effort that is required to write a decent blog every day.

But try I will and here's to doing so successfully.

Much has and hasn't changed since November.  I'm a year older, I'm changed slightly but I've returned to spinning my wheels again and find myself going nowhere quite fast with no slowing down in sight.  Actually, I'm just getting back in control of controlling and authoring my own life and my life story.  This is in part thanks to the blogs I read as well as finally opening my eyes and ears to see and hear what Spirit has been telling for years.

I need to get off of my butt and chase my dreams and goals or they'll never happen.

Working with Tarot has taught me well and I'm actually surprised by how much I have learned from receiving and fully understanding the messages Tarot delivers to me on a daily basis.  Combine this with Spirit and I'm getting a well-rounded and solid education on and about life, my life included.  I have a purpose and will continue to strive to live a purpose driven life to the best of my abilities.

A while back I ordered and received some Sage Smudge Sticks that I have yet to use.  They are not far from my mind and I guess I'll just use them one day, the day I'm supposed to use them, I guess.

My partner and I have made a couple of trips since November and we even hosted his family members through Christmas and New Years.  We even threw a New Year's Eve Party for family and friends.  I think there were sixteen of us altogether.  We traveled to Portland, Oregon for a few days in February and just recently returned from a two week jaunt in Europe-Amsterdam, Barcelona/Sitges, and Paris.

So now I'm getting back into Spirit and will do my utmost to live a healthy and positive "Spiritual" life.

Thanks for dropping by until next time grace and peace to you all, Blessed Be.

Had a Good Weekend

We had a good weekend overall.  We saw Alex Cuba in concert at the Vogue Theatre in downtown Vancouver on Friday night.  The theatre filled with great energy as Alex played his music and performed for an exuberant crowd.  People were up dancing and swaying to his rhythym of Cuban fusion music.  Although he sings in his native tongue of Spanish, I thoroughly enjoyed his show as did the rest of the crowd.

The last several days I've drawn these cards as cards of the day, starting with Friday, November 11th:

3 of Coins
XXI The World
VI The Lovers
10 of Wands

As I go about shuffling the cards and cutting the deck a few times before flipping over the top card, I just clear my mind and let it go so-to-speak as I find it easier to understand the card if I do this.  My mind is filled with the energy and pulse of the card sitting on top of the deck as it waits for me to flip it over.  I'm getting quite good at understanding each individual card as they appear as well as why they appear on such and such a day.  Tarot is a great way to start my day.

That's about it for now. . . and as always thanks for stopping by for awhile. . .

Trying To Post Once a Week

I’ll try to make a post once a week at the very least and every day at the very best.  I do have relevant things to say and valid information to provide to anyone who may be reading this, this my very haphazard blog about Wiccan, Tarot, and all things Metaphysical.

Blogging here everyday is something I can easily do considering that I randomly pull a daily Tarot card.  In addition, it helps me grow spiritually as it makes me think beyond myself and this really helps me to be and feel connected with the Universe.

So please check back often and hopefully I’ll be posting at least once a week and better yet every day.  Thanks for dropping and all the best you all!

So Much to Write About

I could, if I wanted to write a very lengthy post but will refrain from doing so even though more than two months have passed since my last posting.  Much has changed but much has also stayed the same.

I've grown spiritually stronger and feel much more connected to the world around me.  for the first time in a long time, I feel in control of my life.  Right now I can honestly say that I am now the author of my own and boy do I like being in control.

I've refreshed myself about the world of Wicca and am doing more to grow and remain a much more spiritual and a much stronger spiritual person than ever before.  Tarot cards still play a significant and daily role in my life as do the Goddess and God that I communicate with on a daily basis--Freya and Bacchus.

I have yet to perform or formally celebrate the Full Moon and Sabbats but I always go through the motions of a ritual during one of these events so I am doing what I can to celebrate in the midst of those who do not understand or appreciate the "new" world I live in and how I choose to live and celebrate my chosen way of life.

I own an RV and my plan is to move into, travel in, and work from this RV very soon.  My RV is my sanctuary these days and the little I get to visit my RV makes those visits very special and very powerful for me even though my RV is full of tools and supplies and in a deconstructed state of remodel.

You see I am a nomad at heart and need to be on the road traveling and living life as best as I can while traveling wherever the road or wind takes me.  I have faith and know deep down that I can do this even with no apparent income source coming in or without an overflowing bank account to fall back when money is short.  But all I know is that this is the life I must live, that I will live very soon.  I feel like it is my destiny to do this and I must follow my heart on this in order to live the purposeful life I was put on earth to live.
