Another night of sleeping in as much of spiritual sense as I could. The odd thought of the job came to mind however Tarot and model railroading pushed such thoughts aside very nicely. I was dreaming about securing the top of the mountain on my model railroad to the base of the mountain. The mountain is in two pieces so that I can rescue any trains that might get stuck in the tunnels. My efforts were not going so well and proved to be a learning experience and provided me with the opportunity to come up with a better way of securing the two pieces of the mountain together. The dream was well worthwhile as were the Tarot related dreams. I was reminded that I need to continue practising my skills of reading for others.
This past weekend proved to be the energy that really pulled everything together for me to the point where I'm feeling really comfortable in my own skin as Wizard Oron and doing Intuitive Tarot Readings. Everything has come home for me.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the "7 of Wands".
The blowing wind and rain will not keep you away from going where you want or need to be. It'll be a bit of a struggle for sure to keep the umbrella full and you dry, as dry as you can be in this blasting storm however, it will not stop you. The Energy of Spirit is strong within you and will allow you to not only pierce your way through the violent storm but will welcome you with success as you enter the home of your dreams and desires, cross the threshold and close the door behind you, keeping the storm outside. Besides, oftentimes such storms are only as powerful as the energy you give to them.
Take back this energy, harness it and turn it into something that works for you...your goals and passions, your spiritual calling...
...Thank You Spirit.
Welcome to Wizard Oron—I’m a Spiritual and Tarot Intuitive and I want to read the cards for you. More specifically I want to see the synergy that exists between you, the cards, and Spirit and assist you in understanding where your life's at now and where it can be tomorrow through looking at and understanding this synergy.

"7 The Archer" Coming in as My Card of the Day from Repetitive Appearances Throughout My Dreams
Was doing my best to think spiritually as I fell asleep and for the most part I was dreaming about providing my Intuitive Tarot services to people and at one point I was doing a seven card reading and in the process of flipping over the third, fourth, maybe even fifth card but the card that came up did not belong to the Gay Tarot I was using, it was "7 The Archer" from the Wildwood Tarot. And as much as I tried to transform it to card from the Gay Tarot, "7 The Archer" kept appearing.
Another dream was soon playing where I was in bed trying to hide under the covers as a friend was visiting and wanting to give me a gift, a book. I kept hiding under the covers and behind my partner. Suddenly, I was an out of bed planning to head off somewhere and in the midst of a conversation with my friend.
I then found myself drifting in and out of sleep with moments of job related "crap" trying to creep in between thoughts of trees, tarot and spirit and "7 The Archer" popping up every now and again.
And soon enough, the alarm was again serenading us. As I slowly awoke between getting the coffee going and getting spiritually attuned with the day, "7 The Archer" announced herself as the Wildwood Tarot Energy of the day.
As the energy of "7 The Archer" mingled with mine I saw before me my business card attached to an arrow strung in my bow, "Wizard Oron, Intuitive Tarot By David B" with telephone number, website, email, and Skype information on the business card as well. The arrow takes flight as I release it with all of my intentions, skills, talents, knowledge flowing with it, carried by my deep desire and spiritually fueled potential to fulfill my wholesome ambition to help others. I want to show people that can feel even more alive than they feel today, to awaken their spirits in ways they never imagined possible for Spirit's time is now!
The infinite power and influence of Spirit is forevermore filling every atom of my being and infinitely flowing through my veins. Love, Respect, Forgiveness, Humility, Power, Courage, Abundance and Prosperity...
...Thank You Spirit.

The "Sage of Swords" and Learning to Bite Our Tongues
My weekends have become the basis of my transition from mundane job to following my calling and fulfilling my role as Wizard Oron, Tarot Intuitive and Spiritual Growth Facilitator. My dreams are becoming my own and Spirit is strong in my life, for I am Spirit and all that Spirit entails.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “Sage of Swords".
Today's “Sage of Swords" is a reminder to move beyond on judgemental ways as little as we may be or as subtle as we think our judgemental behaviour is. As the image on the card evokes the need to be as impartial and objective as we can be in our lives as is the judge sitting on the bench representing this card.
The best way to be impartial and objective and to put our judgemental ways behind us is to learn not to react quickly and rather give reasoned thought and time toward formulating an opinion or of offering advice on a matter. Blurting out an ill thought out opinion or decision and then living to regret it after is definitely not the way to go.
Reasoned thought delivered in a respectful, calm and understanding answer will be more well received and welcomed because it is not a rash, boisterous response delivered in the heat of the moment. Emotions remain calm and subdued, nobody's backs are pushed against a wall and no one feels a need to lash out and create more of a firestorm when little thought or foresight go into an answer that should be reasoned, rational, logical, and well thought out.
Thank You Spirit.

Pagan Card of the Day, Whimsical Card of the Day and Gay Card of the Day
Trees, Wizard Oron, Tarot, and Spirit filled my mind and dreams last night. I fell asleep in complete surrender to Spirit, to Spirits power in my life, the ever expanding possibilities of Spirit and a willingness to be guided wherever Spirit may need me to go.
I awoke with a need to work with Spirit and Tarot, where I was not only going to draw a single card of the day but three cards from three separate decks. As I did this a sense of need to sit down and be focused today on Tarot and writing came to mind, of working on me and my relationship to myself and the rest of the world. Further exploring my relationship with me and my relationship with Spirit. So this is what I will do. With a camera and video coming to mind during the times I need to take a break, a step back and refocus.
As I sit here contemplating each of the cards, I'm looking at myself from outside of myself seeing that I'm dressed in my ritual garb--robe, pants, shirt, hat and pentacle necklace and remembering how I've been trying to work my way into being a wiccan and performing rituals and magic as all other wiccans do. Then I pause for a moment, realizing that how I perform my rituals and magic is perfectly okay and is in essence a true wiccan practice. For me I am all that I need to perform rituals and magic and raise the energy needed to bring manifestation to my spells and desires. Yes, I have candles, incense, athame, pentacle, altar cloth and many other ritual tools and needs but realistically speaking all I need is myself, my knowledge, acceptance, and connection with Spirit as well as the openness to change and allow the magic to happen.
Spirit Is and...
...today's Pagan Tarot Energy is the "Seven of Wands"
The Pagan "Seven of Wands" is a card of reassurance, letting us know that we have all that we need to face and handle our financial obligations and needs. We often have the support of others whether we see or realize it or not and often more support than what we need. So always welcome it, never shy away from it. Never let pride get in the way of others coming to your side and propping you up a little. Be focused and thoughtful of the choices in front of you and resolve to make the best you can and make it and live by it. You have it in you to make the right choice.
...today's Whimsical Tarot Energy is "VIII Justice"
"VIII Justice" from the Whimsical Tarot is letting us know that truth reigns supreme, avoiding the truth can bring about consequences that we least desire. Yes, sometimes the truth hurts but in the long run, it's always the right choice to be making--telling the truth if done respectfully and if expressed from the heart allows us to be better able to handle the fallout from telling the truth as well to recover from the experience more quickly where the experience does not unnecessarily burden us or bog us down in despair. It in fact will give us the opportunity for a fresh start.
...today's Gay Tarot Energy is “10 of Coins"
The Gay Tarot's “10 of Coins" is asking us to look at our lives from somewhat of a historical perspective, urging us to look at our lives from a more objective point of view. This then allows us to gain the perspective needed to gauge where we are with our lives and maybe even see that how we've lived our lives is not all that bad after all. And that we in fact have much more living to do as well as the opportunity to write the next chapters of our lives anyway we want to. How do you want to live your life from this day forward?
Develop a clear picture in your mind, focus on it, give it the energy it deserves and make it happen.
Thank You Spirit.

The "9 of Swords" and Redirecting Dreams From Worry to Peace and Tranquility
Another decent night of sound sleep and subconscious communication with Spirit...Spirit expressing it's infinite knowledge, wisdom, power understanding, abundance, prosperity, humility, forgiveness and unequivocal love through me. Although, some dreams I dislike having also crept in...
...Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the "9 of Swords".
The "9 of Swords" is no surprise for me as I realized during the night that some of the dreams I was having I did not like so I did my best to redirect my thoughts and dreams towards all things spiritual...nature, tarot, magic, the otherworld, all things seen and unseen and it worked. But I had to do it a few times to finally transcend those useless and unworthy dreams that do not deserve the attention or worry we place upon them.
Thank You Spirit.

'XVI Revelation" and Moving Beyond the Status Quo
Another day of moving along on my new venture and Fool's Journey. Being patient and doing my best to use my time wisely and manage my finances the best I can. I trust and allow Spirit's involvement and influence in my life and I welcome the infinite prosperity and abundance that Spirit shares with us all. I welcome new people into my life as I welcome the gift of Spirit in my life...sharing all that Spirit has to offer through the gift and guidance of Tarot.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am “XVI Revelation".
The status quo is no longer acceptable and it's time to make some changes. Time to take another hard look at our lives, ourselves and what we're doing with our lives. “XVI Revelation" has returned because we have not been totally honest with ourselves let alone others. What is lurking in our lives that we do not want to bring to light? Or face once and for all? We have to deal with it now. We have no choice.
Not only might what we have to face upset us, it might also upset others but face it we must. Honesty and forthrightness is the way to handle this at this moment in time. Facing up to what we have until been avoiding is the only way to move forward and make a difference in our lives. So let's all take a deep breath and face that darkness in our lives that we've been trying to avoid. It's caught up to us, it has caught us and we must turn around and face it!
Thank You Spirit.

"0 The Fool" and Taking the Fool's Journey as an Exciting, New Venture Gets Underway
I'm now accepting appointments for Tarot Readings. I'll do my best to accommodate all requests however at this moment, my time is still constrained by this day job I have. But having said that, such constraint is only during the day and I free most evenings and weekends. As well, by booking in advance I'll better be able to manage my time. This is where my sleep and dreams took me last night.
Made a quick trip to Kings Cafe down on Kingsway after the job to meet my partner and a former co-worker of his for a quick afternoon coffee, a decaf Americano for me. I love the coffee, the atmosphere and the people filling the space. Just before leaving I spoke with the guy behind the counter who told me that he and a few others opened up the place for millennials like him so they had a gathering spot in the neighbourhood.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am "0 The Fool".
I've embarked on a journey by opening myself up to actively engaging in what I feel is my spiritual calling, Intuitive Tarot Reading. An exciting time for me as take steps on this new venture. Anxiously, nervously, excitedly awaiting that first call or email to come in.
I was inspired to become more active in my Tarot Reading and doing it professionally after listening to Mandi See in her YouTube video "Before You Read Tarot Professionally". Thank you Mandi.
So I've begun another Fool's Journey as many of us do and I'm very happy to embarking on a new exploration of life through doing Intuitive Tarot Reading professionally and by also exploring my life as a gay man as well as how I relate to the rest of the world and how the rest of the world relates to me. Additionally, how I relate to other gay people and the many people that are identifying themselves outside of the traditional identifiers of gay, straight, or lesbian. And then how these people relate to the world and to each other.
Thank You Spirit.

The "3 of Swords" and Facing Our Sorrows Head-On
I fell asleep last night with images of me following my passion and calling, working with Tarot and helping others find answers and guidance to their questions and concerns about their lives, who they want to be, where they want go, how they want to live their lives and more importantly accept and find solace in who they are. If this makes any sense at all.
However, I also had sobering thoughts of taking control of my debts before they take control of me and what came to mind was to get on with it. There is nothing stopping me from pursuing the path of Wizard Oron, Intuitive Tarot Reader.
So as I continued to partially awake throughout the night thoughts of working with others through the gift of Tarot filled my mind. I was walking on sunshine to steal a phrase from the 1983 song of the same name by Katrina and the Waves. I felt empowered, confident, filled with purpose and knowing that I'm fulfilling my spiritual calling.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the “3 of Swords."
Today's “3 of Swords" energy has us facing the facts of our lives, of dealing with things directly and putting them front and centre and not letting another day go by without dealing with these unpleasantries that are dangling about us. We need to take control of situation with the confidence of dealing with it the best that we can and expecting the results we want to have.
Thank You Spirit.

'III The Protector' and Creating Comfortable Spaces and Welcoming in Abundance and Success
Yes, a lazy Saturday gave way to a lazy Sunday. We did go out for lunch but that was it. More piddling around with model trains and Tarot, updating my website and pinning down how I'll start offering my Tarot Services.
Then dinner had to be made, traditional lasagne...delicious...from one of my Mom's old cookbooks.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am “III The Protector".
“III The Protector", brings to us this the energy protection, of providing a safe haven for others, of providing them with comfort and making them feel welcomed and loved, at home. The scene is of an uncle and his niece celebrating life on a perfect summer day, feeling safe and secure, feelings further strengthened and made true with the appearance of a white dove on the branch of a nearby tree.
Protection, safety, nurturance, providing the comforts of home, creating a comfortable, serene and welcoming home are what come to mind as I meditate with this card. Not only can we or do we provide this for others we give these to ourselves too!
“III The Protector" is also about welcoming abundance and success into our lives, of putting out positive vibes, positive energy and seeing it come back to us in great and unexpected ways. We need to accept that good things happen to us, that success, too, can be our middle name. Let's let our success and our beauty contribute to the success and beauty of this world!
Thank You Spirit.

The '10 of Coins' and Living Life Your Way
A lazy Saturday spent indoors except for a quick trip to the grocery store to get over and done with, our weekly grocery run. So today can be another lazy day at home. Not so lazy mind you as we are doing things, things that we like to do. I'm working on my model railroad and Tarot offerings, one at a time mind you.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the “10 of Coins: History. A knowledge of and appreciation for history. Seeing your concerns in a larger context. Seeing your life as a story; who is the author."
A reminder, a little kick in the butt to remind us that we have to be proactive participants in our own lives instead of merely blindly stumbling along in our day-to-day living. We need to stop reacting to life and start creating life, our own lives and actively living our lives instead of sitting on the sidelines watching life go by. Life isn't a TV show and this isn't a dress rehearsal, this is our one and only chance to really live life and make something of it. Yes, life can and is often difficult but we can more than merely survive this life, we can thrive in it.
How?
By waking up to the fact that we have a life to live, an important life to live, our very own!
One way to do this is to take a step back from our role in society and look within to see what we actually want in and with our lives instead of having it dictated to us by advertisers and being told how we should live a 'normal' life. We are unique individuals and should be able to the best of our own abilities live life the way we want to live it. We need to find ways to take a step back to look at the larger picture and then find a way to immerse ourselves into the rest of society while maintaining our individuality and uniqueness that belongs to us with no need to defend, explain, or justify who we are and how we're living our lives.
As long as we are not hurting anyone else or ourselves, we should be left to our own devices. Do not be afraid to question or stand up to or throw out what is defined as living a "normal" life and instead live your life, the way you want to live it for it is normal for you and that is all that matters in the end.
Thank You Spirit.

Do not be afraid to question or stand up to or throw out what is defined as living a "normal" life and instead live your life, the way you want to live it for it is normal for you and that is all that matters in the end.
Thank You Spirit.

A 3-Card of the Day Spread from the Gay Tarot Deck
My how time gets away from us sometimes. I finished work at the usual time and was home shortly after 5pm and was going about my evening patiently waiting until I had to head out to the airport to pick up my partner around 10pm. Well, wouldn't you know it, by the time I cleaned up a bit, had dinner, and grabbed a shower I barely had time to write about yesterday's Tarot. So I was rushing to at least get something posted and headed out. Instead of the trip taking the 30 - 45 minutes it usually does, I got to the airport in about twenty minutes and had plenty of time to spare. While waiting I wrote and people watched, not much to watch mind you at such a late hour so I spent most of my time with my head in my notebook and pen in hand.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am “XVI Revelation: While it is usually best to tell the truth about yourself to those who are close to you, it can be a painful experience. A necessary destruction of the status quo. Having to tell someone an unwelcome truth. A new idea which upsets others.”
Supporting Cards today:
What needs to be attended to is the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday. Fond memories. A gift given in friendship or love.”
And what to look out for is the "Guide of Swords: A wider perspective. Altruistic thoughts. Messages from the higher self."
Today is a day about truth but being truthful in a sensitive and respectful manner with the understanding that it may be difficult for some of those to you to take in a deal with. The best way to approach this is to plan and be as prepared as possible for the consequences of such revelations. Consequences both expected and unexpected. Those hearing the painful truth may definitely need time and space to absorb the shock they are experiencing over what you tell them. The best way to help them is give of yourself, let your love and respect for them pour out and wrap around them. Connect with them spirit to spirit. Keeping your emotions in check and as cool as possible. Don't let them get enflamed by your loved ones possibly lashing out at you over what they hear. It is even advisable to take a step back and see the larger picture here and gain perspective of how your relationship will change and the new dynamics that will come into play.
Thank You Spirit.
Friday, February 17, 2017.
Sorry I skipped a day to do some house cleaning and organizing and boy do I feel good now. What a difference it made. It made such a difference that I slept through the night, not awaking once...not a single memory of stirring at any point.
Spirit Is and yesterday's Gay Tarot Energy was the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery. Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds. Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”
Today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the “5 of Wands: The Hockey Game. The project meets resistance. Testing one’s ideas against others. An enjoyable struggle. Competition in the marketplace."
Competition is never to be feared. Competition should make you look at what you're offering and contemplate whether or not you can make any improvements or find ways to move above and beyond your competition and be in a league of your own. With every challenge there lies a solution, a way to get out of the sticky situation and rise above it all. So have no fear about hiccups, detours or competition. All such things should get you inspired, think outside of the box and challenge your expectations of yourself and where you aim to be.
Thank You Spirit.

'0 The Fool' and Talking About Sex With Ourselves
Another rainy day, the second of a three day heavy rainfall warning in place for the Metro Vancouver region.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am “0 The Fool: Accepting and exploring one's sexual identity is a journey of self-discovery. Beginning a new and exciting venture. Going beyond the limits of social convention. A non-conformist.”
"Accepting and exploring one's sexual identity is" a great way to create a healthy sexual identity and sex life. If we know ourselves intimately then we can help others understand our sexual desires and what type of sex life we are seeking. Don't be afraid of talking about sex with yourself or your partner. And if both partners are open and receptive to such conversations then you're likely to have a healthy sex life. Of course all partners must feel free to express themselves and be respected. So respect yourself and learn to understand and appreciate your sexual identity. Be safe, healthy and respectful about and with what you discover.
Thank You Spirit.

The '4 of Wands' and Acting Enough to Accomplish an Initial Event
Happy Valentine's Day! May this day just be one of many where you tell your loved ones how you feel about them. May this day be a reminder to do more of this throughout the year. Create Valentine's Day throughout the year for those you love.
Spirit Is and today's Tarot Energy is and I am the “4 of Wands: Setting the Stage. Opening night finally arrives. A venture has been established. Celebrating initial achievements."
Perhaps, hanging up a printout of my new business card design as well as the hours I keep on the wall doing business as Wizard Oron has something to do with the “4 of Wands" appearing today. What have you set the stage for in your life? What venture has come to life for you? Even the smallest achievement deserves to celebrated sometimes!
Thank You Spirit.

'VI The Lovers' and Creating and Building a Relationship That Works For You
Home Alone! Dropped my partner off at the airport around 7:00am and have the rest of the week to myself. Several months ago as this trip was first planned I declared this week to be my meditation week. I was also planning not to be working at the job anymore but I need to be patient.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am "VI The Lovers: A relationship is always a mingling of differences. A powerful relationship. Seeing both sides of an issue. Flexibility.”
A rather fitting card for today as this is exactly what the both of us think about our relationship. It's well-grounded, successful, and unique to us. This is our relationship and we do not compare ourselves to any other relationship out there as each relationship is unique and must be solely defined by the individuals involved and no one else. No need to compare, defend, or justify the relationship you have with your partner. Make it yours and celebrate it!
Thank You Spirit.

'IX The Hermit' and Using Wisely The Time We Have To Be Alone
Mostly a lazy day yesterday...did some laundry and then simply piddled around doing a whole lot of nothing, not paying much attention to anything. We did go out for a late afternoon coffee and a walk which was quite nice...relaxing and refreshing. Then we returned home watched a bit of television before heading out to dinner at Patsara Thai Restaurant as we were feeling that lazy and didn't even want to lift a finger to make dinner. Great food, in our opinion, nothing for us to complain about. We count ourselves very blessed that we can make such a choice considering that many people might not even have food on the table. After dinner it was a bit more mind-numbing TV before crawling into bed.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am “IX The Hermit: To fully understand something, sometimes you must escape it. Gaining perspective. Solitude. Study.”
I'll be a bachelor for five days next week and this card is a reminder to me to use this time of solitude wisely, not to waste it and throw it away. I have five days of opportunity to delve into the depths of my being so I can gain a better perspective of who I am and how I can best move forward with my goals. As I mentioned previously, my website is now a much better reflection of who I am and through a bit of solitude and study I will gain the knowledge and wisdom to take it that one step forward where I'll be rewarded beyond my wildest dreams for my efforts.
So, “IX The Hermit" today is warning us not to squander our time of solitude and instead put to good use and really make something happen with the time we have to spend alone, by ourselves and without interruption if we only choose to shut ourselves from the world for awhile. And for many this will be a big challenge as some of us have become very wrapped up in the instant communications that today's technology and social media have to offer us. Remember the choice is ours to make, no one but ourselves forces us to think that we need to be in constant communication with each other and the rest of the world.
“IX The Hermit" is telling us to take a break from that today, so do it! Challenge yourself to mute your phone and put it in a drawer and spend the next couple of hours with your own thoughts, in meditation, with Spirit. Discover a new, fresh, and deeper connection with the world around you...the choice is yours to make.
Thank You Spirit.

The 'Ace of Wands' and Letting Our Creative Rocket Take Flight
Had a tough time sleeping last night or so I think I did. I did awake and walk about the condo for several minutes and clumsily performed a Full Moon Ritual upon seeing the glorious Full Moon out the window.
Then the next thing you know I was awaking in bed and it was coming on to 7:00am, I slept in...
...Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the “Ace of Wands: A creative inspiration. The beginning of a project or venture.”
Today's “Ace of Wands" is offering up some very powerful creative energy to get our creative juices flowing. Where will this burst of creative force and energy take you today? Do you feel that creative inspiration bubbling up from the very depths of your being? Where will you all it to take you? Grab hold of and harness these creative forces and let your creative rocket take flight and get your project moving forward, give it that unstoppable momentum it needs so you see it through to the very end, where it's complete and where you want yourself to be.
Thank You Spirit.

The '5 of Wands' and Enjoying a Little Struggle Every Now and Then
I, again seem to have forgotten my dreams. I slept pretty soundly last night and although I seem to remember being semi-conscious a couple of times last night I do not really remember any dream activity.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the “5 of Wands: The Hockey Game. The project meets resistance. Testing one’s ideas against others. An enjoyable struggle. Competition in the marketplace."
Looking at what others are doing especially if they are chasing similar goals as you is a good way to gain an understanding of the competition. Which is a good way to improve yourself. Resistance is also a great way to come up with new ideas to overcome or transcend such resistance and prepare yourself for similar hiccups down the road. And another great way to deal with struggles and competition is to find a way to make it enjoyable or at the very least find a way to put a positive spin on the whole affair.
Thank You Spirit.

The 'Ace of Cups' and Being Guided Emotionally By Spirit
Another good night of sleep with prehnite, a quartz crystal point, selenite, and silver blue topaz on my night table. Not too sure of the dreams I had although I'm seeing images of boxes or squares, maybe picture frames in my mind as I think back to my sleep.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the “Ace of Cups: A gift of love. The beginning of a love affair, friendship, or partnership.”
This “Ace of Cups" represents the pure energy of love that evolves out of spirit, that grows and matures into an eternal bond. It's genuine friendship, a partnership that is built upon trust that comes from the deepest depths of our being. This is the best way love, friendships, or partnerships can emerge...from our spirits.
Thank You Spirit.

The 'Ace of Swords' and Allowing New Ideas Come to Pass
Forgot mention that on my way home from the job yesterday I glanced out the window, took notice of the waxing moon and was delighted by a murder of crows that flew past right in front of the moon...wonderful, just wonderful!
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the “Ace of Swords: An idea. Starting to develop a plan or strategy.”
Sometimes we just have to push through with our goals in order to make them happen. However, that should never stop us from trying something new especially when an idea pops into our head that gives us that "a-ha" moment that then allows us to rework our plans or strategies and move a little quicker toward what it is we wish to achieve.
Thank You Spirit.

The '6 of Cups' and Giving the Special Gift You Hold Deep Within You to Someone Else
If I remember correctly all of my dreams took place out in nature in one form or another. Walking trails carrying my tarot cards with me or walking on a frozen body of water that I attempted to label as the Fraser River at where the Quesnel River met it but the geography was all wrong as was the way the rivers were configured and I was saying this as the two of us were walking off the ice and onto the gravel bed where what I was labelling as a river petered out. I'm not sure how long after this scene played out but I corrected myself and told myself that it was a lake or small creek that we were walking on. Then we were in the middle of a wide open space...field, meadow, beach, ocean, not sure where as I awoke seemingly just seconds after this scene began.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the “6 of Cups: Happy Birthday. Fond memories. A gift given in friendship or love.”
My initial reaction to the “6 of Cups": giving the gift of time, of solitude, of a warm embrace, making someone feel special like it's their special day, or remembering special moments together. Doing something for someone else for no particular reason, just doing because it struck you to just give, even if it's of giving of yourself, a kind word, a sincere smile, a helping hand...creating a special moment for someone that becomes special for you too! Creating those fond memories waiting for you in the future.
Thank You Spirit.

The 'Man of Coins' and Dedicating Some of Our Hardworking, Reliable, Responsible and Dependable Energy to Ourselves
Awoke several times last night but had a wonderful night of sleep and seemed to be very aware of and fully involved in what I'm taking to be dreams. I think they were related to the changes I made to my website. And, you know after making those changes I really felt like it's and continue to take ownership of what I've created. It feels like me. Whereas before I made these changes I just didn't feel like my website was my own.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the “Man of Coins: Responsible and hard-working. Reliable. Dependable."
I'm happy to say that for the last few months I've been quite hardworking, dependable, reliable and responsible at the job and have finally focused this behaviour quite intently on myself and my goals thus the changes to my website and redesigning it in such a way that I can wholeheartedly take an honest and committed ownership of it to the point where I am also promoting it. Oftentimes we behave this way for others and seldom for ourselves. I've finally come to point of seeing this with myself where I'm too focused on others and their needs. I haven't been giving enough of this energy to my own needs until this weekend.
Thank goodness I've got the energy to do this...being connected to the spiritual realms does wonders to our stores of energy as well as how quickly our energy is replenished.
Thank You Spirit.

The "Guide of Swords" and Thoughts About Helping Others
Had a relaxing day, headed downtown after lunch to run an errand and along the way we stopped for a coffee and a pastry at Pure Bread that was surprisingly empty for a Saturday afternoon. We didn't mind though as most times we have to go somewhere else as the place is packed and with a line-up to the door. After the arduous task of picking a pastry from their huge selection of goodies we relaxed and read. Next stop, a cruise through the men's floor of The Bay, Top Man, and H&M before hitting London Drugs and scooping up a few made in Canada goodies for a trip one of us is soon taking.
We cheated on dinner and picked up a barbecue chicken and a couple of side salads from our local Safeway, dinner was later due to indulgence of pastries earlier in the day. Then we wiled the night away reading and doing a whole lot of nothing.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the "Guide of Swords: A wider perspective. Altruistic thoughts. Messages from the higher self."
Thoughts of helping people fill my mind this morning, continuing on with the theme from my dreams and further expanded on by the visit of the "Guide of Swords" this morning and the powerful energy he brings with him. Actually, it was engaging with the cashier at London Drugs that brought all of these and dreams on (M or F, but then why do I need to use a label? This person is simply expressing who they truly are).
"Altruistic thoughts" run deep and I see a need for us to stop labelling people and/or trying fit people into tidy, neat, little boxes that may make us feel good but do nothing for the people we are labelling. I think it's high time that we simple let people be the unique individuals that they are. Let's not box people in with a label so that we give them room as well as the opportunity to express themselves and show us all that they are and desire to be.
Thank You Spirit.

The "Man of Wands" and Having A Nose For Spotting Trouble
Winter has returned to the metro Vancouver region in the form of snow. I thought that we were quite done with the snow but Mother Nature says otherwise. Incoherent memories of my dreams are all that I have this morning although a few ideas and thoughts that I'm having this morning take me back to my night of sleep so perhaps my memories are not so incoherent after all. Nothing I want write about at the moment as they are still unravelling in my mind.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is “Man of Wands: Someone who likes problems, and/or thrives on unstable or dangerous situations. “The Establishment”. Keeping the peace.”
My take on the "Man of Wands" today is one of control, authority, seeing things in black and white terms only, and someone who is a bit unyielding in their ways. And almost someone who goes out of their way to look for trouble or at the very least someone who needs such situations to make their lives feel complete and whole, almost as if this was their purpose in life.
Thank You Spirit.

The 6 of Swords and Leaving Emotions Alone and Giving Them Time to Heal
A decent night of sleep and a willingness to get up and go to a job that I'm in the process of trying to leave to fulfil my goal and be the full-time Spiritual Guide and Tarot Reader that I am. Dreams of sitting at a desk or table and talking into a camera played through my mind last night. I was discussing why I chose to do what I'm doing and how I think Tarot is an important part of a strong and loving spiritual life...such relaxing and inviting dreams.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is the “6 of Swords: Peaceful Recovery. Serenity and the passage of time help to heal wounds. Stormy emotions are given time to subside, allowing a plan for a solution.”
I'm drawing a blank on this “6 of Swords" energy for the day. I coming up with nothing more than what is suggested by the little booklet that comes with the deck...I'm okay with this...it happens.
Thank You Spirit.

The 8 of Swords and Opening Our Eyes to Reality and Finding the Open Door to Freedom
Blessed Imbolc. Happy Groundhog Day!
Fell asleep with "VII The Chariot", the Card of the Year for 2017 that I randomly selected the 1st of January. "VII The Chariot" suggests good tidings throughout this year so I found myself sleeping with loved filled and joyous heart. And I slept very well as a result...awaking feeling authentic and real...my true self...Wizard Oron...Spiritual Guide, Tarot Reader and long time Tarot and Spiritual Enthusiast.
Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is and I am the "8 of Swords: The Crowded Subway. Restriction. Being trapped by your own biases and prejudices. Feeling lonely in a crowd.”
Being trapped by your own biases and prejudices...needing a way to freedom and not seeing the open right in front of you. Your eyes are closed to the reality you need to see. It's nothing you can't handle but you can't handle it until you face and accept it for what it is...and it's you. You know what you want or at least think you know what you want but you're not wanting it badly enough to make it happen, for it to become the reality you want it to be. Open your eyes and walk through that door that's been in front of all the time...your life is waiting for you on the other side.
Thank You Spirit.

The Ace of Cups and Being Reminded of Spirit's Love and Support
Sweet dreams became worries, fear, and a few tears and after a couple of hours of tossing and turning and ruining my sleep I dozed for about an hour before the alarm serenaded us once again. And upon awaking I heard this soft, tender voice seemingly coming from nowhere yet everywhere that told me to fear not, let those worries be nothing but a faded memory for you are loved and must keep believing...
...Spirit Is and today's Gay Tarot Energy is “Ace of Cups: A gift of love. The beginning of a love affair, friendship, or partnership.”
Spirit loves us and if we give Spirit room in our lives we'll feel and see that love shine forth in every aspect of our lives. Spirit does not only love us but is a willing, faithful and dedicated partner that we can rely on no matter what. If we look around and about our lives we'll see many examples of Spirit being in our lives where we likely never gave a thought to how Spirit plays such an important role in our mundane everyday lives. It's not only miracles where Spirit shines through for Spirit is with us always even when we are simply taking out the garbage.
I love you Spirit.
Thank You Spirit.
