Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Mid-week, also known as "hump day"...always a nice day as the work week is now half over. I don't ever remember struggling through my work days with previous jobs as I do with this one. The more I stand back and take an objective look at the entire operation of the business I work at, the more unsatisfactory it is. The business is not a bad one per se and has a lot of potential however, the owners are not seeing that potential. The business could be so much more...but I need not worry about it as I'm moving on and have a different path that I must take.
I'm getting a lot of inspiration from Tarot and nature as spring is upon us and I enjoyed a bit of sun during my lunch break sitting on a bunch in downtown Vancouver watching the lunch crowd rush up and down the street like a bunch of ants. And I've even discovered a few things browsing the "net".
Today's Pagan Tarot Energy is the "Elder of Pentacles: The suit of Pentacles and its corresponding element, Earth, is feminine and is the mother of comfort, security and a solid foundation of grounding, so an older woman with short gray hair represents the Elder. She wears a long black robe and a green stole with yellow pentacles. She holds a ritual pentacle and a black leather book of shadows. On the ground nearby are a large basket filled with fruits, a loaf of bread, and a bottle of wine. This Elder has used her practical abilities wisely and has manifested many good things. She can create an abundant and beautiful experience for those around her, rich in the blessings of the Goddess as long as she doesn't lose sight of what really matters."
Let us never lose sight of this: "She can create an abundant and beautiful experience for those around her, rich in the blessings of the Goddess as long as she doesn't lose sight of what really matters." For as long we don't lose sight of what really matters to us we shall be blessed with the richness of the cosmos. Life is gift, as are our family, friends, and loved ones. Life is about living with purpose and giving real meaning to our ideas, thoughts, decisions, actions, and relationships.
What we do does matter and has real consequences. How we live our lives affects many more people than the person staring back at us in the mirror. And we see this whether good or bad. So let's focus on how our positive, loving, light-filled and peaceful energy brings us many more rewards, if you will, and unimaginable riches (deep and loving relationships, satisfaction from living a good life, humility and forgiveness, appreciation for what we have even when it's not all that much) especially when we go living our lives focused on "what really matters".
