Monday, May 25, 2015. Last night was a long period of sleep where I found myself awaking often and wondering why it was not getting bright out yet as I kept feeling like I had slept long enough each time I awoke. When the alarm finally sounded I didn't want to get out of bed and wanted to simply continue sleeping. Argh!
Spirit Is and today's visiting Tarot is the “Youth of Swords: Curiosity. Research. Computers, e-mail. Immature communication. Spying (or "hacking")”
I was very focused on my day's activities at work today and simply followed the agenda laid out for me this day. I kind of like the approach as I can more easily work through the day knowing what comes next. I'm fine with a change of plans from one to the next however I like more a planned day so I do not find myself bouncing around here and there as I become a bit scatter brained doing that. Today was a good day.
The “Youth of Swords" visit is very well timed as I'm currently reading 'The Book of the Shaman' by Nicholas Wood, published in the US and Canada in 2001 by Barron's. It's an easy read but not a book to be taken lightly either as I've found that my mind, spirit and soul have opened up and expanded in ways I never dreamed of or thought possible. I'm ever more focused on spiritual matters and relate ninety-nine percent if not one hundred percent of what I do to spirit.
After putting down 'The Book of the Shaman' I read a blog and as I was reading this blog esoteric and spiritual ideas filled my thoughts and I was able to clarify things in my mind. I was able to pinpoint areas in my spiritual life that needed more attention as well as where I needed to do more research and study. One example is that I'm more spiritually and soulfully minded when I interact with other people. Now not only do I put a smile on my face I also reach out to people with my spirit. My communication with people has improved tremendously and I always walk away spiritually enriched and satisfied.
And oddly enough as I was thinking about Tarot, I sensed that I needed to turn my attention to my model railroad and more specifically the website of the local hobby shop. What a great idea. I discovered that they carry some electrical components that I know I need to get in order to resume working on and making progress with my model railroad layout. Unbelievable!
Some impulsive study of a book has opened my eyes, spirit and soul so much so that a whole new world has opened up for me. And I've made discoveries that'll make my spiritual and everyday life much more fulfilling as well make my hobby much more fun and interesting than it has over the past few weeks.
